F.A.Q (Frequently Asked Questions)
Q- Why do shirts take anywhere between 2-3 weeks to ship out?
A- Well we print all the shirts in-house and they are made to order. Basically we try waiting a week or two between orders to group orders together before printing. In addition it allows us lead time in case we have to order more materials/supplies. It also allows for things not to be rushed and lets me take my time to make sure every shirt is perfect...or as perfect as I can make it. In the end you get a superior product and something that shows the love, pride and faith we put into it.
Q- Why do your shirts feel different from other shirts?
A- A lot of people comment on the "feel" of our shirts, from the high quality 30-single ring spun fabric we use to the discharge ink process. Basically the shirts we use have a finer weave making for a softer shirt and the ink we use dyes the shirt rather than coat it so it's still breathable and you can barely feel anything!
Q- Do you really give back to charity?
A- ABSOLUTELY! It's one of the major reasons we do what we do, to give back. We believe that God gives us our skills and abilities in order to use them in the world to make it a better place. Keeping all the money would be great but we don't think we'd be doing what we do or would be who we are if we ran our operation like that. We feel bad for our planet and society as a whole think the world and the people in it deserve better, so we will help make that happen, or fail trying.
Q- I see you only give 50% of your profits to charity, how is that non-profit?
A- We know it may seem we are a non-profit but we aren't. We're actually a regular company that gives half of it's "profit" back to charity. As a matter of fact we are pretty transparent about this fact and never seek to mislead. For more info on how this works and about our overall mission, read this!
Q- I have a charity and wanted to know if you'd support it with your shirts.
A- That's great! We'd love to find more organizations to work with and are always open to requests. However we would require 3rd party verification of your ogranization (like charitywatch.org) to consider it.
Q- How do you expect to run a business by giving %50 away to charity?!
A- Easy, we don't care how fast we grow. So if it takes us 10 years to get to where what a full profit company does in 5, fine. So be it. We 'll be that.
Q- I ordered the wrong size, how do I return it?
A- Please read our return policy here.
Q- I'd like to sell your shirts through my website/store.
A- We're open to opportunities however Good Ink's ability to give back doesn't exactly work through 3rd party sales, $9 vs. $4 is a huge gap. That's why we like to sell direct as much as we can.
Q- Can I submit artwork?
A- We love new art and meeting new artists, but to avoid any hurt feelings or disputes we do not accept unsolicited artwork submissions. We do however accept portfolio reviews and personal art submissions to display a style in consideration for a collaboration. To be considered please send your resume and online portfolio link to goodink at goodinkclothing.com with the subject line "Good Ink artist consideration"
Q- I'd like to contact one of your artists for a project.
A- We'd be happy to forward your information to our artists but we cannot give out any information other than what is available online to 3rd parties. We'd be happy to forward the message on though, email info at goodinkclothing.com.
Q- How safe is it to purchase products through your website?
A- 99.9999999% safe! Granted there are crazy hackers that can crack Chase bank's website, we take every measure to ensure the confidentiality of all information entrusted to us and to make sure all security measures are in place in order to protect your account information. We utilize current SSL certificates and even offer the option to check out with Paypal (though you're just as well off with our system).
Q- You mention God here and there in your various sections, what's that all about?
A- We at Good Ink are Christian, as such Good Ink is a Christian based clothing company. Do we shove it down anyone's throat? No. Why? Because we just do us and that's all that we can do, we're not here to force anyone to believe how we believe but we'll let our values and beliefs shine through what we do. It doesn't mean every shirt will have some kind of bible scripture plastered across the chest (we don't even like those shirts), but it does mean we will be considerate, aware and responsible in what we put out there. And no, not all of our feature artists are Christian, they just believe in our mission.
Q- Are you hiring?
A- Currently we are not hiring but as we do most of our work in the "cloud" we have opportunities for awesome talented virtual interns. Contact us for more information.
YES WE DO!
